A leash with a stretchy middle. When your dog lunges, it bends instead of yanking your arm. Easier on their neck. Way easier on yours.
Stretchy middle softens every sudden pull
Saves your shoulder, elbow and wrist on walks
Gentler on your dog's neck, back and joints
Quick-clip hook, works with any harness or collar
Walks should not feel like a tug-of-war.
Most leashes are basically a piece of rope. When your dog spots a squirrel and bolts, every bit of that yank goes straight to your arm.
Our bungee section absorbs the shock. Instead of a hard stop, it stretches a little, then settles. Your dog gets a softer signal. You keep your coffee.
Better for them. Better for you.
Sudden pulls are rough on a dog's neck, shoulders and spine, especially with a collar. The bungee softens the force every single time, which means fewer jolts now and less wear on their joints over years of walks.
It's also a lifesaver if you've got a sore elbow, a tweaky shoulder or a dog that just really, really wants to meet every other dog. Less yanking. Less arm pain. More walks you actually enjoy.
Our dog is reactive to other dogs and has been since we took him over at two years old. The harness with the front clip meant he gets turned away when he tries, but the actual jolt when he takes off still went into my shoulder. With this leash the last of it disappears, he takes off, the leash gives a little and then he's standing turned towards me without me having to hold back with my whole body. We walk past the school in the mornings now where there are always lots of dogs and people, I wouldn't have done that six months ago. The handle is soft, which is nice when you're holding it for a long time.
I've had problems with my right shoulder for years and the walks with our boxer have been the worst, every time he spotted something my arm got yanked. Bought the leash at the same time as the harness mostly because it was easy to add. The first week I didn't think it made any difference, until a cat ran across the road and he lunged. It turned into a soft pull instead of a jerk, I stayed put and my shoulder didn't feel a thing. Now we take longer walks again, all the way down to the harbor on weekends. The handle is nice too, soft without getting hot in your hand.
Thought a leash with shock absorption sounded like a gimmick, but my elbow thanked me after a week. Those jerks when the dog sees another dog don't reach my arm the same way anymore. Sturdy build, the hook feels solid.

Hi Tobias! Thanks for giving it a chance despite the skepticism, glad your elbow agrees.

I'm 70 and have arthritis in both hands, so I've let the grandkids take the walks for a while. With this leash and the soft handle I can manage them myself again, the jerks never really reach me. The dog and I walk our loop around the lake every morning now.
The shock absorber works and my arm is happier. But the hook was really stiff the first few weeks and after a rainy week the rope smelled a bit musty, had to hang it up to dry properly. It went away anyway. Three stars, would probably have been four if not for the smell.

Hi Petra! Thanks for letting us know. The hook softens with use like you noticed, and the rope does best hung up somewhere airy after rain, just like you did. Get in touch if the smell comes back and we'll help you.

Easy on the arm, you notice it right away when the dog jerks. What I don't like is that it gets a bit long in town when it stretches out, so at crossings I hold it a bit further down the rope. Works well in the woods and in the fields. Four stars because of the length.

Hi Joakim! Thanks for the feedback. Holding it further down the leash in town makes it short right away, just like you're already doing. Glad it makes a difference for your arm.
